LCI-EEC-Workshop

On 13th July 2011 at the premises of the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, the second "Low-Carbon-Index-Workshop" was arranged. It was organized by the research team of the University Duisburg-Essen and SBA (as part of the megacity research project “Integrated approaches towards a sustainable and energy efficient urban development, urban form, mobility, housing and living”).
The first "Energy Efficiency Controller-Workshop" took place on 14th to 15th July 2011 at the site of the Low Carbon Business District Hongqiao.
At the end of the workshop, the first ECC-Server installed successfully by the technical team of the German research team at Hongqiao. In the following weeks, the first sensors will be connected with the EEC-Server to determine the CO2 emissions and energy consumption.
The research team reports the current status of the project at the conference "Urban Strategies against Climate Change", with a followed workshop on 31st August 2011 in Shanghai.
